Est. September 2004
Two decades of building volleyball players — and people — in Sarnia and Lambton County.
Our Mission
Twin Bridges Volleyball Club strives to inspire a lifelong passion for volleyball while instilling the life values of sportsmanship, teamwork and perseverance through team competition.
We are a non-profit organization that aids in the development and promotion of the sport of volleyball throughout Lambton County. Volleyball is a sport for life — it can be played at every level, from beginner to competitive.
Our Legacy
The club consists of volunteer coaches, players and parents. Together we provide a positive environment where children learn to gain confidence, self-esteem and life skills through the sport of volleyball. Since our founding, we've watched 15+ players move on to play college and university volleyball.
Our Roots
Twin Bridges was started in September 2004 by ten founding members who believed Sarnia-Lambton deserved a competitive volleyball pathway of its own.
Founder Barb Rigg-Garbaty has been the driving force behind Twin Bridges since its inception. Her volleyball résumé includes:

Thank you
Over the years, dozens of volunteer coaches have given their evenings and weekends to Twin Bridges athletes — including founders who still coach today. The club's history document honours more than 60 past coaches, from Justine DeBoer and Karen Dargatz to Wil Luk and Wil Martin. To every one of them: the Thunder rolls because of you.
We're always looking for volunteer coaches, referees and helpers.
